Stepping off the plane from Buenos Aires – I came into Giant Spectacular ‘fray’ late in the piece – there were already photos from every conceivable street angle posted on the net. Fantastic photography I might add – from local professional photographers, sight-seers… you name it!
So it was nice to be able to hit the Mersey today to bag a few shots as the Giant Spectacular sailed gracefully out of town into the Waterloo sunset (well almost…)
In all – It’s been an incredible past couple of days and a real testament to the people of Liverpool for making it happen. These events take months of planning and massive amounts of investment. But when you see the streets lined with excited smiling faces, it all becomes worthwhile.
Liverpool, I salute you.
We were stood by the museum, but couldn’t see much. We’d also missed most of the route too. So glad you captured these great shots. Cracking !!
