A perfect winter’s morning greeted us as we hit the Liverpool One outdoor shopping complex for some team portraits. The marketing team had a massive year last year with some fantastic events going on. From Gok Wan’s Fashion Runway to X Factor stars Rebecca Ferguson and Marcus Collins live in concert – there was always something happening!
We were lucky with some soft morning light. We hit a few locations to accentuate the diversity of Liverpool One.
Although clean black and white studio portraits can be very effective – I also like getting out and about and utilising the environments in which people work. It gives a nice natural and more contextual feel to the photos. Donna, the Liverpool One Marketing Director – was about to be published in an article relating to the state of retail. We went to both Peter’s Lane and Paradise Street to get some portraits that had the necessary retail “feel” to them.
