Was delighted to be invited to photograph the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner again for the third year running. The return to the spectacular Anglican Cathedral made my job a lot easier with such a stunning backdrop. I had to remind myself that there were well turned-out Liverpool businesspeople in the frame also! The introductory speech was from the Earl of Derby, followed by Chamber chairman Jack Stopforth. The key note speaker was Charlotte Hogg – head of retail division – Santander. As a sponsor of formula one racing – I soon worked out why there was a Formula One racing car in the nave of the church! They all had positive messages for the future of Liverpool and the Northwest. The evening was bought to a close nicely with 80′s group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
